Happy 31st birthday Ryan!

For Ryan's special day he wanted to go to yes, Chuck E Cheese's. It ended up be a great family outing and lots of fun for Elli. Ryan and her ran around playing games and collecting tickets. I am pretty sure they both had a blast. Below is a picture of Elli helping Ryan put the tickets into the redemption machine. Enjoy the rest of the pictures!
Her big prize...a very fancy plastic purple ring and a blow up hammer she busted on the way home. HAHA Ryan being a "HOT SHOT"
Loving the driving game.

Oldie but a goodie!

Ryan went to Alaska for 10 days the last two weeks. Tim (our good friend) is from there and the two had talked for years about taking a "boys" trip. They finally did it and had a blast. Once Ryan uploads some pictures to the computer I will get some posted.
While he was away a long time friend of mine from Colorado, Katie Matthews visited. Katie and I have been friends since grade school. We have always had one of those connections that we just pick up where we left off. Though we don't talk, email or visit each other enough it was such a treat to have her visit for the weekend while Ryan was away. Here are some pictures she took during her visit.
Thanks Katie for the great visit! Elli and I had a blast. Elliana loves her Gogurts!
Bubbles, Bubbles & more bubbles.Katie (my dear friend from Colorado visited last weekend) and Elli playing! Elliana had to show off all her toys.

Elliana just watching her favorite show, The Wonder Pets.

Elli's 2 yr. Stats!

Elli, as you can see below, is growing like a weed. Our pediatrician has been slammed so we finally were able to get in for Elliana's 2 yr. old wellness check this week.
Height: 34" (47%)
Weight 24 lbs (13%)- getting into the higher percentiles so that is a GOOD thing...but still a skinny mini.
Head: 18.75" (51%)
Overall the doctor said she looked great and is a proportionate little lady.

Her personality is developing so much. She is the sweetest, most loving, sassiest, busiest, funniest and most independent little girl I know. She is really starting to pretend and imaginative play. She takes care of her dolls and has tea parties. She is devilish in that she loves to hide and jump out to scare you and of course fake pout/cry to see your reaction. Elli has limited fear...jumping, falling, climbing, etc.

Last night some of my girlfriends got together at Nicole's house. It was a blast. All together there are 4 children and now that the kids are toddlers they are all walking and slowly talking. Have to say it is live entertainment watching them play together. Nicole recently got an IPhone and Noah & Elli LOVED it...maybe too much!
Enjoy the pics below. I have snapped a few threw out the week.

July 12 Video!

Scroll down to the July 12th posting and there is a old video that posted from her birthday! It is super cute! Title is "VEGAS BABY"

Sleeping beauty and her little people.

Little Miss Elliana is getting bigger and smarter by the day. She loves to hide and scare you (thanks dad for teaching her that), jump on the bed, be silly by making funny faces and noises and of course play with her Little People, which are miniature plastic dolls that you collect. They come in all different types and themes. They have construction sites, barns, houses, schools etc. We have the school bus and the house which came with a dining table and chairs. She likes to set all her little people up around the table and it's pretty funny watching her interact with these "people". A couple nights ago she took her dinner plate and sat with her little people around the little table on the floor and shared her dinner with them.
She is talking more and more everyday! She gets very excited about things. She will gasp and drop her jaw when she hears or sees something exciting. I don't know how many times a day we hear "Watch this" or "Look at me." Elli will yell at you till you watch and look at her, too. Her sentences are developing daily. She LOVES the movie Cars and watching golf with dad. Last night Ryan was watching Big Break on the golf channel and she was very upset that it ended. She kept pointing at the TV (or TB as she says) whimpering, "GOLF, DADDY! WHERE'D GOLF GO?" We have also attempted watching Little Nemo, Ratatouille and Madagascar, but Cars is still her favorite. She is sitll a HUGE fan of the TV show on Nick Jr. called the Wonder Pets. She loves Gogurts (which are yogurts for kids), noodles, pretzels, cookies and candy. She is very particular about her shoes and will only wear her purple crocks or her flower flip flops. She screams when you take off her PJ's because she loves "jamas". She is getting really good at dressing and undressing herself (unfortunatly at any time or place). Every night we read a book or two. A couple favorites are Dr. Seuss's "GO DOGS GO" and Margret Wise Brown's "Goodnight Moon." Our new challenge is to get her fully potty trained over the next few weeks.
Silly girl!
