Updates, Updates

Well as usual life has got us by the ankles and is spinning us around! HA..so busy.  Ryan is working 12+ hours a day, I had a ton of travel in late June & July.  Finally got my head above water and have a week of travel coming up.  Never stops but all part of life!

All about Dexter..I just realized I never put his 9 months stats up.
Height: 29 inches (73% percentile), Weight: 19lbs 15oz (39%), Head Circumference: 46 cm (70%)
He is cruising, pulling himself up on everything, walking with a push toy everywhere.  He has even mastered turns!  He is getting better day by day standing on his own for a longer period of time.  He is trying to walk but gets so excited he is almost jumping and then falls because his balance isn't quite mastered.  Soon though.  Elli started walking at 10 months and I think Dexter is on that same track.  He is still a happy camper.  Eating pretty much all regular food.  Loves broccoli, blueberries, cauliflower, peas, kiwi, avocado, meats (hamburger, chicken, turkey) and his favorite (like mommy) any kind of carbs.  Gigi sent some homemade banana bread and he went to town on it.  He ate half the loaf (or was wearing it). Dexter has a chilled, happy, fun, demeanor.  I am really excited for all the cousins to get just a bit older and watch them all interact.

Speaking of that Elliana will for SURE be the hell raiser amongst them.  We are going to have to keep a close eye on this witty, little one.  She is to smart for her own good and I have a feeling she will be the ring leader with some mischievous shenanigans.  She loves to hide herself and scare the daylights out of you or just even hide your belongings and thinks it is funny to watch you look for them.  The other day I was hugging Ryan and she came up behind me with an ice pack and put in on my back.  Sneaky, Sneaky.  She is absolutely hilarious to hold a conversation with though.  Such a fun, free spirit.  She is really developing a sensitive side.  Oh she LOVES Dexter and genuinely is very concerned with his well being.  They play GREAT together.  She encourages him and he just cracks up at her.  The minute Elli hears music she starts trying to sing and bust a move.  I can't even tell you how out going she is.  Recently our community had a block meeting.  I wasn't able to go but Ryan told me that Elli went around introducing her self to every single person and putting her hand out to shake there hand hello.  Ry said it was hard for him to leave because she was schmoozing.   A week from today Elliana officially starts pre kindergarten at a local preschool 3 days a week.  Crazy how fast it goes.  She has been in swimming lesson all summer which have been great.  We decided to stop for the fall and switch it up a bit for her.  So she will start soccer Sept. 10th.  We are thinking in the winter trying tumbling/gymnastics.  We will see what she wants to do.  Maybe swimming again.

We continue to keep busy! More pictures to comes soon...
