Sorry For Being M.I.A!

Well, geez I can't believe over a month has gone by and no updates to the poor blog. I don't really think anyone checks it anymore...so I will do this update to see if the viewership is still there. Please leave a comment so I know you are still here.

Over the last month it has been hectic to say the least. I had a wonderful "good bye" reception at the Thomas & Mack Center. Everyone there is just so wonderful. I already miss the people. Then I had a week off, which wasn't really time off at all. Everyday I had a "To DO List" that had me going from 6:30 am till bedtime...but at least I got some stuff done around the house. Then we went to Wisconsin for Ryan's brothers wedding on Sept. 19. A beautiful fall themed wedding. Congrats to Jason & Nicole!

Once we returned from there, I was off to Stamford, CT for two weeks for training in my new job! While in Stamford I was able to take a trip to NYC. It was AMAZING. It was like Disneyland for adults. I can't wait to go back when I have more time for sightseeing...like a Broadway show, Empire State Building, Ground Zero and even the Statue of Liberty. I did go to Time Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, NBC studios and took the subway & train through Grand Central Station. I am speechless of how amazing it all was. Back to the job...now I am 3 weeks into it and doing great. It is very similar to my previous job just from a different point of view. The job entails lots of multi tasking and major organization...of course nothing I can't handle. Ryan has been a jewel in assisting me get my office put together at the house...from painting, to setting up the phone/fax lines, getting equipment I need, to setting up the Internet...thank goodness he is so wonderful.

Elli is getting big, sassy and a handful. She is funny and very loving. She does have an attitude and temper developing. She had her 15 month apt. Got her shots and stats. She is 19.8 lbs (5%) and 32 inches (65%). Everyday she is getting smarter and smarter! She loves books and being read too. She loves to organize her toys then throw them everywhere and reorganize. She can throw away trash, put her cloths in the dirty basket and help mom clean up her food mess on the floor. She is the MESSIEST eater around.

Ryan is VERY busy at work. I think he has worked late for almost two weeks straight. But it is the busy season for golf in Vegas. Weather is perfect...75/80 degrees with a slight breeze. Not like the snow in Colorado!

I will try to not let the time get beside me and update the blog more frequently again...if anyone is even reading anymore!
