Snow Update #3

I finally made it home from work! A 15min drive took me well over an hour. Here are some photos of our house. They are saying that this is the worst snow storm in 30 years!

This is our back patio

Snow Update #2

Well, it still hasn't stopped snowing and it probably won't until tomorrow morning. The forecast says about 3-6 inches on the Vegas Valley floor and over 10 inches above 25oo ft. (DragonRidge is roughly 3000 ft).

Snow Update

Here are some more pictures. These ones were taken a 1/2 hour after the previous ones. It's 2:30 and has been snowing constantly for over 2 hours. Still coming down and doesn't look like it will be stoping soon.

Today in Las Vegas

Here are some pictures of me at work today. The snow keeps falling and is starting to stick to the roads. Should make for an interesting day in desert!

Anyone up for some Golf?

Santa's Little Helper

Elliana and Santa

This weekend was Elliana's first meeting with Santa. It went great. No crying, just jolly good times. She will be 5 months on December 11. We can't believe how quickly she is growing up. Yesterday she rolled over both ways (from her back to stomach to back). We were so excited because she had only been rolling over one way since she was a month old. She is smiling lots and starting to laugh. It is pretty precious. We might have a thumb sucker. She still loves sucking on her hands and always ends up with just her thumb. Elliana is getting strong. With help she can stand and sit up. Her eye color is still a greenish grey and she is slowly starting to fit into her 6 month clothes. Other then that, all is well and we look forward to being in Michigan for the Holiday's!

New Video

Thanksgiving '08

We couldn't have had a better celebration. We ended up having 20 guests. We set up 2 banquets tables from Ryan's work plus the round dinner table we already have. Nicole and I both cooked a turkey and then everyone else brought side dishes and so on. We of course had plenty of wine, beer and soda for drinking enjoyment. Ryan's sister was able to come out to spend her 3rd Thanksgiving with us. It's become a sort of tradition now. It is such a treat for us when any family comes to visit. Ryan is super close with his sister so, it is especially meaningful. Plus, Elliana got some good bonding time with her aunt.

The guest list for the day of thanks was Nicole, Tim & Noah, Sarah (Tim's sister) & Nick (her boyfriend), Penny (Tim's Sister) & Danny (Penny's good friend), Ines (Nicole's Mom), Brittany (Nicole's Sister), Lilly (Nicole's Aunt),Ryan & Chris (Nicole's Cousins), Katie & Jay, Nate (Katie's brother), Gail (Tim's Mom) & Bill (Tim's Stepdad) and then Kelly, Ryan, Elliana and me. It was wonderful, yummy and fun! I definitely missed all my family in CO and MI but it's awesome that we have built such a wonderful extended Vegas family.
