Shhh....Elliana has a secret!

Big Sister 2 Be

Drum roll please...I am 11 weeks pregnant. Elliana is going to be a Big Sister.

My due date is 11-11-11.

As before I have been VERY lucky with no symptoms or anything.

We did have a minor issues at our first appt. The first ultrasound indicated that I had a uterine bleed. My doctor put me on hormones which have helped. I have to take meds for another 9 days. The second ultrasound (two weeks later) shown edthat the bleed was already healing and the baby has gotten bigger, had a healthy heartbeat, bones were developing, hands, feets and growing right along. So far everything else has been good.

One bummer is that my doctor who delivered Elliana is no longer delievering babies. I am using her for my first trimester but my next appointment will be with a new doctor. Luckily my new doctor is not such a new doctor to me. I used this doctor for about 2 years. When I got pregnant will Elli she was out on maternity leave so I found Dr. Burns (who I love). I sadly have to leave her but at least my new doctor is someone I am familiar with.

Easter Bunny 2011

Yesterday Elliana got all dressed up and was so excited to see the Easter Bunny. Well, until it was time to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. She wouldn't let go of me (hence why I got suckered into the picture). While we where waiting for our pictures to print she became best buds with Mr. Bunny playing peek-a-boo, waving, blowing kisses and so on. All in all I love that we can use the Easter Bunny as incentives for good behavior. Anytime we say we are going to tell the Easter bunny Elli is being naughty she turns into a good girl, following directions and stops pouting. Truly a miracle how the Easter Bunny & Santa have this power.
