Dexter 15 Month update

First sorry for the hiadus...life has been very hectic with the holidays, my travel for work, now commuting to the city daily.  I think I finally got a good schedule set and all adapted well till another curve ball gets throw our way in this game called LIFE...right!  :)

The stats are in...our little man Dexter is growing like a weed.  Other than being the happiest baby on the block he has our peditrican and nurses "gaga" over him.  It is so funny.  Everytime they just say over and over how cute and happy he is.  I am bragging so sorry but I really think I got lucky with two kids that are tremendously happy, outgoing, friendly and GREAT sleepers!

15 months
Weight: 23lbs 15oz ( 41%)
Height:  31-1/2 in (62%)
Head:  48-1/2  (84%)

Dexter is saying or trying to speak more and more daily.  He says mom, dad, mya, ball, sit, shoes up, down and some others I haven't yet deciphered.  He is very active.  Elli and him are BEST buds.  They play so GREAT together.  Elli is a wonderful big sis and always looks out for Dex.  They both share with each.  Run around the house chasing each other, screaming, signing, marching, playing...whatever!  It is fun.  Dexter is ALL boy though...throwing, hitting (nicely), stacking blocks, climbing, etc.  It is so funny because sometimes when we scold him or tell him NO he looks at you with this HUGE smile giggling and all you can do is laugh.  He is starting to learn how to fuss a bit when he doesn't get his way but we had good practice learning from Elli in ignoreing that behavior.  His favorite NONO is trying to get in the pantry.   He will stand in front of that thing gabbering and begging for food (like Mya does).  Believe me this boy can eat and eat nonstop.  Very different from Elli who we couldn't stop for a second from palying to have just a bit when she was his age.

Things are going great at home.  Ryan is doing fabulous at work.  He seems to like working for Pepsi and is doing great.  I am having some challanges but still enjoying what I do.  There has been lots of turn over and changes ovet the past two years....I am just more or less ready to move forward rather than be in this limbo. Things look promising.

2013 has started a bit rocky but nothing horrible!  I am really hoping to get out to Colorado by this summer if not earlier...fingers crossed we get a decent tax return right?!

Good update - your kids are SO great! You SHOULD brag! But you know that so much of it is solid parenting, and also, super personalities of the parents :)
