Elliana's First Trip To Colorado

Great Grandma Mina graciously bought Elliana (and I) a plane ticket to Colorado so the family could meet her. The trip went great. She traveled well! Hopefully, it is a GOOD preview for our trip to Michigan at Christmas.

Two Month Check Up

First of all I want to say sorry for the delay in updates!

We visited Elliana's doctor last Friday (09/12). She is doing great. 10lbs 5ozs, almost 24 inches long and her head measures 15 inches around. She got a few shots in her left thigh. To be expected she cried but by the time we got back to the car she was calmed down. We have to take her back the week of Sept. 26 and get two more shots. Then we don't see the Pediatrian till November for her 4 month check up and shots.

New Photos

We were able to stop by the doctors office today to weigh Elliana. On September 2, 2008 Elliana Marie Morris weighed in at 9lbs 11 oz. She is just over 7 weeks old and is gaining about 7oz a week. She is very healthy and in tip top shape. Here are some recent pictures:

New pictures of our little Angel

Here is a short update on our life. A couple weeks ago I flew to Phoenix for my friend Kendra's wedding. She looked stunning and it was very nice. I was only gone for 2 days. Thank goodness the Morris' were here to help Ryan out. I flew back Sunday morning. That same morning the Morris' left and that evening my dad arrived in town for a conference and was here for 7 days. He was able to bond with Elliana (without Grandma Gomes hogging her...j/k). It was a great visit. Once he sends me his picture I will post some.

During that week I got a treat..some of my close high school friends were in town. I was only able to visit with them for a couple hours but it was really great to see them. Plus it was a "guys" weekend away for all of them, so I couldn't bring in to much estrogen! Sunday, August 24th was Ryan's 29th birthday. He worked in the morning and wanted to just hangout at home that night. So I made him dinner and the Johnson family came over and visited.

This week I have been working from home. They were a bit short staffed so, I volunteered. Well, that is the current update. We don't have any big plans for Labor day...maybe just take it easy and relaxing.

Grandma & Grandpa Morris and Aunt Kelly just left. It was a GREAT visit. During that week Elliana started to really smile! She is rolling onto her sides, very alert and starting to be able to hold her head up. She is coming right along. Here are some ADORABLE pictures of her.

We went to the pediatrician this morning and Elliana is progressing and growing PERFECTLY!
She is 8 lbs 3 oz and 21-3/4 in long. The only bummer is that she is suffering from a pretty severe diaper rash that has recently developed. No worries though, she should be back to normal in a few days.

One Month Old

Elliana is officially one month old! Can't believe it! Here are some pictures: She is really filling out! We weighed her on Friday and she was 8 pounds. Things couldn't be going better. This Monday will be our one month pediatrician appointment. Also, Aunt Kelly and Grandma & Grandpa Morris are visiting and will be meeting Elliana for the first time! Saturday was Nicole's 29th birthday and Kendra's Bachelorette party. I had to include a picture from our couples lunch party. We had a ton of fun!
